Up Strange Charm0nics

Postponed

Up Strange CharmOnics is a sound arts exhibition of Cratila, Red de Creación Sonora Participativa, comprising electronic music live acts and small format audiovisual installations inspired by questions such as: what is the role of listening in our vital interaction? how do uncertainty and interferences transform ecosystems? how can we unveil the creative plots and interests of the cosmos?

The title of the exhibition is inspired by three quarks or fundamental particles of matter: up, strange and charm. A line from James Joyce's novel 'Finnegans Wake' refers to three quarks given to seagulls - from which the name of the particles was derived. In his text, the quarks are the sound emissions of these birds (((
