National Lectureship of Art and Science
This presentation focuses on one theme: understanding how research in complexity can/is done. It is an open, undisciplined and heterodox proposal. The central argument points towards a call for a non-disciplinary understanding of the arts, while at the same time uncovering the false problem of the distinction and perhaps hierarchy between science and art. We are in the midst of a scientific revolution. It points to the birth of a new civilization. Thus, the classical relations between science, art and philosophy may be different, and it is desirable that they should be.
