LIVE PAINTING
Chapter 5 - Nexus Universalis
Live Painting is a multidisciplinary work resulting from the research done for the thesis in visual and plastic arts of the faculty of arts ASAB. It is a project of artistic experimentation based on a creation laboratory, which brings together different creatives in areas such as music, audiovisual, photography, digital media (video mapping) and painting, to develop a working methodology that results in a live space/temporal work.
This exposes an immersive online experience, which seeks to teach about the inner world, nature and the universe. Its purpose is to be a voice in the safeguarding of the knowledge coming from the countryside through the deep content found in painting, its beginnings as a source of expression originating in a wild environment and connected entirely with the mother and the universal.
A search to understand that we are not individuals but inhabitants of a territory that is shared with other living beings, who like us are there, sowing in the balance of the whole.
Artworks
The participants created artworks in multiple media, whose narrative traverses the themes explored by the artist Johan Franco in his work. Videos, paintings, performance and audios build this collection of pieces, which exalts other ways of knowing, understanding and experiencing nature.
