Human knowledge is built from the cultural context, which in turn is shaped by the individual filter of each subject. However, we are faced with a social structure that does not place essential emphasis on questions that it assumes are already solved: where we come from, who we are, why we are here. Going deeper into such essential issues could be the step to a free reflection outside of established doctrines.

Primer cero is an installation-action that combines art, science, body and technology. In it, from the conception of the origin, we invite to confront the different perceptions that humanity has reached in its search for Reality and to question established positions to enable dialogue with new approaches. This work is the result of a year of work within the Suratómica creation program, in which we developed our idea taking as a basis of inspiration the different research being carried out at CERN, as well as several of the topics addressed by quantum physics.

As artists, we believe that the close relationship between art and science is a reencounter between two fields that start from the same fundamental need to give meaning and explanations to the most basic human concerns. Under this premise, with the aim of building a dialogue with the origin and its different conceptions which would encourage reflection on its impact on our interaction and construction of reality, addressing different perspectives and dimensions as human beings, Primer cero was born.
